Finally getting back to work after a period of quietness in projects coming to my desk of late. In the lull I’ve move office, updated my Mac, chosen Ionic as a development tool for apps and discovered my wife was expecting our second child.
In setting up a new project on my local development machine, I’ve come to Terminal and typed in a few commands, of particular note postcss, I wanted to include another plugin and used the cursor arrow on my keyboard to go back in my line. Nothing. Key repeat wasn’t working. After much googling and trying of similar commands, the command that worked on OSX Sierra was from Cult of Mac.
Simply enter the following into Terminal:
defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false
Don’t forget to restart the app, or all your apps to see the changes.
