Seeing the ever looming SDK from Test Flight App come nearer; got me thinking that Appcelerator integration could be a thing for @testflightapp to look into.
Whilst Appcelerator already offer a method of debugging and action calls to its own SDK for premium subscribers only, it would be nice to see the geniuses at Test Flight pick up from where Appcelerator are lagging behind in the test analytics environment.
Without reading too much into the code, or from any technical knowledge if this is possible; here is my view on how TestFlightApp could approach the Appcelerator Titanium community.
Within every Appcelerator app; (from here on I shall refer to iOS apps only), you are able to define your own analytics by instrumenting custom events unique to your app. An example from the developer API docs shows an example of how we would do this:
Titanium.Analytics.featureEvent('app.feature.blah',{product:'killer'});
I don’t see it impossible for TestFlightApp to piggy back on to this same event and integrate into their no.1 web application for testing your apps.
Of course Appcelerator and TestFlightApp could collaborate to bring even more offerings to Titanium users, available to all developers.
If you are an Appcelerator Developer and your not sending apps to your beta testers using TestFlightApp, then what are you waiting for? Go do it!
